2021

Aloha wanted to have a rebranding of their corporate identity as well as a new web presence. They requested a design that represented their core values and also allowed for opportunities for eventual sub-brands of the different branches of the company.

They requested a simple web design showcasing their services with imagery from their various gardening projects.

Summary

This rebranding took place over a couple months and worked towards the goal of achieving a branding that communicated a more authentic and appropriate identity to potential clients. They wanted their branding to reflect their values and focus as a service provider.

The branding would span from their website to administrative documents and corporate branding (corporate vehicle, signage, etc.). Therefore the new logo had to work in many different instances and had to fulfil various needs.

Challenge

We wanted to create something with organic aspects while communicating their holistic approach to natural gardening and education. Because they wanted options to scale up with different logos for different aspects of the company, alternative logos and color combinations had to be established and drafted.

The new branding could be a complete redesign so I was not limited by any restrictions. This allowed for a lot of flexibility and creativity in the redesign.

Solutions

Overall we produced a branding that represented the organic nature of their work. The branch and hand translates the partnership between nature and human intervention and represents their core values of working with nature and wild gardening practices.

The website was designed with a minimalistic style so that the important information was at the forefront. They wanted to start simple with the ability to scale up and include pages for their educational offerings. Overall it allowed for a good pairing between portfolio images and informative text.
