The owner wanted to have a more cohesive instagram grid as well as wanted to experiment with AI images and create art for his salon's marketing strategy for both his online and print media.
Summary
The owner wanted to create more artistic images for both his print advertising as well as his social media account. He was interested in experimenting with the new AI image generators and was open to creating art that represented his values of acceptance and innovation.
His goal was for his social media to represent his legacy as a renown international hair stylist. This mix of real word and AI had to blend well and complement his current content.
Challenge
The AI images turned out beautiful but there was a balance that needed to be found between original photographic content and the AI dream-like content in order for the followers to not feel overwhelmed by this new direction of content.
It was an opportunity to introduce his following to a look inside his dreams and creative vision. He was open to push the boundaries of what a business usually achieves with their social media account and wanted to focus more on the artistic expression of the salon.
Solutions
Together we found a great combination of generated dream-like content and his creative "real world" photoshoots. We started to produce more video content and try to blur the line between the two types of content.
He wanted to create a cyborg of content and sometimes combine the two different aspects in one image. The result created an innovative new mix for his grid and allowed him to appeal to a new audience that he previously wouldn't have reached.
