PLANLABS approached me requesting a branding for their newly established company. As pioneers in their field of utilizing AI technology within the construction branch, they wanted something modern that also catered to the traditionalists in construction.
Summary
PLANLABS is a company focussing on combining AI technology with HVAC installations of industrial buildings. They are pioneers in the construction industry and are working to disrupt traditional HVAC installation by being faster and more precise.
The owners wanted a branding to accompany their new endeavour and wanted it to fit with their goals as well as their industry. It was important to be a blend of tech and construction.
Challenge
The owners of PLANLABS were looking for a logo design to help represent their modern take on the construction industry. They wanted it to feel like a remix of traditional and modern elements and utilise architectural forms and references.
This marriage between contemporary and classic was challenging to balance while keeping the overall feel very geometric and architectural.
Solutions
Together we were able to achieve a great combination of the desired aspects for the corporate identity. It is reminiscent of the traditional construction industry while stepping out with something more modern. This logo was developed to be primarily in digital contexts and foremost in the pitch deck and other presentations.
All together, the identity has given them a strong yet reduced logo concept that works for both clients in tech as well as the construction industry.
